Bismillah Alamyar, a social media user wrote: “Yes, the entire Afghan nation is happy. May this lead to durable peace in the country.” Saleem Waziri, another social media user wrote: “We are happy with the reduction in violence and would like the three sides to agree on permanent ceasefire.” Khaleq Mehraban writes: “The 40-year war is ending, the killing of Afghans comes to an end so why one should not be happy. It is important than everything that Allah termed peace as a welfare.” Habib Shakih Nawal wrote: “Yes, I am happy. There is no better time than now for peace. Both sides should stop fighting so that our future is secured.” Faridullah wrote about the reduction in violence: “It is a step towards halting the killing of Afghans. May Allah end the 40-year war and established durable peace.” Some people are doubtful over the reduction in violence: Four persons in the opinion poll wrote that they were not happy over the reduction in violence and presented their arguments. Abdul Ghafar wrote: “I think this is something planned and part of a project. The two sided will never want to end fighting.” Mohammad Rafi also shared same view and said: “This is just to deceive people, it is not true.” Izhar Erfan wrote: “The establishment of peace is one of the divine order and this is just a game. May Allah establish durable peace in Afghanistan.” nh
