KABUL (Pajhwok): Tens of residents of central Daikundi province are demanding the removal of the governor and an investigation into the transfer of 23 million afghanis to his private account.
Ahmad Etemadi, a resident of Daikunid who spoke on behalf of others, said: “Documents show the 23 million afghanis were for governor, his deputy and district chiefs, but it was transferred to the private account of Governor Syed Anwar Rahmati.”
Etemadi said a separate account should have been created for this fund in coordination . . .
