KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty-Two civilians were killed on Friday when a ceremony marking the 25th death anniversary of Abdul Ali Mazari came under attack in Kabul.
Fifty eight others wounded in the gun assault, which came before noon, Public Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Waheedullah Mayar said, fearing the number of fatalities could soar.
However, Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi put the toll at 27 dead and 29 injured. The shooting happened in Barchi area at about 11am.
