KABUL (Pajhwok): US special envoy for Afghan reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad called on national security advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib in Kabul and both discussed issues concerning security and peace process, a statement said on Sunday.
The statement from the NSA office said US Chargé d’Affaires Ross Wilson was also present at the meeting between Mohib and Khalilzad.
The two sides discussed latest developments in the peace process and political and security situation.
They also talked about how to use the opportunity being created about the peace process and the next steps.
