KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Saturday inaugurated the parliament after winter recess and said the government’s negotiating team would be formed until March 10.
The parliament’s recess started on January 21 and ended March 5. As per the relevant law, the president should inaugurate the first session of the parliament on March 6 after the winter recess.
Ghani said his emphasis and caution should not be interpreted as his opposition to peace.
