KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Three people were kidnapped within a month in northern Kunduz province, terrifying local residents.
Unknown gunmen kidnapped one government officer and two businessmen in Kunduz during the past one month, prompting local residents to stop sending their children to school.
Security officials, however, claim they have tmade necessary arrangements to stop kidnapping incidents.
Safiullah Amiri, deputy head of the Kunduz Provincial Council, said kidnapping incidents o and targeted attacks recently surged in Kunduz.
