More than 300 paratroopers would undergo health monitoring and medical treatment at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, the 82nd Airborne Division said.
In a statement, the division said military personnel returned home after completing a 9-month rotation in support of the Resolute Support mission.
“My No. 1 priority is the protection of our paratroopers, their families, our community and the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19,” said Maj. Gen. James Mingus, the division commander.
