SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): Police seized and destroyed more than 1000 kilograms of drugs in northern Sar-i-Pul province last year, an official said on Tuesday.
Noor Agha Faizi, police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the confiscated drugs included opium, hashish, heroin, alcohol and K tablets.
He said counternarcotics police also detained 11 drug smugglers along with Kalashnikov, two pistols and car and introduced them to judicial organs.
