KABUL (MoE) on Wednesday announced developing an alternative plan to provide education in emergencies to students.
Earlier, the government had said all government and private educational institutes would remain closed until April 18 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
A statement from MoE media office received by Pajhwok Afghan News said: “The alternative plan has been designed to provide education to students in ongoing holidays and to avoid wasting of time, and make effective use of holiday season and the plan will go into effect after the approval of president.”
The statement said television, radio, apps, print materials and human resources training were among options to provide education during holidays.
The statement said MoE planned to teach social subjects via central and local radios and though private local media.
Students were also urged to keep their preparations on a daily basis at their homes.
