KABUL (Pajhwok): Cabinet approves strategy to impose certain restrictions on public movement in capital Kabul, an official said on Friday.
Waheed Umar, presidential advisor in public and strategic communication, on his twitter wrote that cabinet approve strategy of partial lock down in capital Kabul and details in this regard would be shared later.
Earlier, Kabul governor recommended quarantined strategy of capital Kabul through which certain restrictions shall be imposed on the city to stop the spread of coronavirus.
The governor office on its facebook page wrote the purpose of the strategy is to control the spread of coronavirus and limit the number of affected people for this purpose certain restrictions in the city and Municipality Districts would be imposed.
On the bases of this strategy, emergency situation would be imposed in capital Kabul and majority government institutions would be closed for three weeks.
