4 police killed, 8 injured in Daikundi clash

 

NEILI (Pajhwok): Four police personnel have been killed and eight others wounded in a clash with Taliban insurgents in central Daikundi province, an official said Sunday.

Deputy police chief Naqibullah Malistani told Pajhwok Afghan News that the clash broke out after the rebels stormed an outpost of security forces in Kando district late Sunday night

He added that the Taliban also suffered casualties in the clash, but exact figures were not known as yet.

The Taliban have said nothing in this regard.
