Uzbekistan sends Afghanistan humanitarian aid

KABUL to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the war-devastated country. .

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered delivery of the aid, including tools to combat COVID-19, such as masks, overalls, thermal imagers and pyrometers.

An official at the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Tashkent said on Wednesday that flour, oil, rice, soap, clothes for children were also part of the assistance.

“Today there is no country in the world that would be indifferent to the fate of other countries,” the ministry press officer, Samandar Hikmatullayev, was quoted as saying.
