Young school principal gunned down in Khost City

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have killed a young school’s principal in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Thursday.

The incident took place in the Gulzar Aka area of the Khost City, the provincial capital, late on Wednesday.

The provincial police headquarters also confirmed the murder, saying an investigation into the shooting was ongoing.

Meanwhile, Khost Education Department officials have also confirmed the issue but said further information in this regard would be shard later.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the incident.
