Cabinet approves national strategy on coronavirus

KABUL cabinet has approved in principle the national strategy on combating coronavirus and the plan will be shared with international community.

The Public Health Ministry yesterday said Afghanistan’s positive coronavirus tally had reached 840, with 30 persons dying of the infection. So far 54 persons have recovered from the disease.

The Cabinet that met yesterday afternoon at the Presidential Palace approved in principle the national strategy for coronavirus for finding resources and creating working groups in the related programs.

The meeting asked participants to share their views and suggestions regarding the strategy in written form with the government leadership.
