Afghanistan needs united leaders, Wilson tells Karzai

KABUL’s political situation.

Chargé d’ Affaires at the US embassy in Kabul, Wilson tweeted that he talled with Hamid Karzai and encouraged his and Prof Sayyaf’s efforts to facilitate a political solution for all Afghans.

“The country needs united leaders to maintain security, address coronavirus, and pursue peace.”

Earlier in the day, Meshrano Jirga members said the political tension between President Ashraf Ghani and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah was confronting the country with more challenges.
