Kunar: 4 children killed in rain-induced wall collapse

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Four children were killed on Monday morning when a wall collapsed due to heavy rains in the Narai district of eastern Kunar province, an official said.

Abdul Ghani Mosamim, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident occurred in the district at around 7:00am, killing four children playing in the street.

On Saturday, six members of a family were died when the roof of a house caved in as a result of heavy rains in the Khas Kunar district of the province.
