KABUL Breshna Shirkat (DABS) said on Thursday.
In a statement, DABS said the power transmission line was cut due to a firefight between the security forces and Taliban in the Gazan area of Doshi district.
The power utility added the supply of electricity to Kabul and several other provinces had been suspended due to the damaged cord.
DABS workers have reached the area and are working on fixing the damage. Power supply to Kabul and other provinces is expected to esume by the end of the day.
