JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Information and Culture department officials and civil society activists on Saturday initiated an awareness campaign to prevent the spread of coronavirus in urban districts of eastern Nangarhar province.
The awareness program regarding Covid-19 was launched in nearby districts and Jalalabad, the provincial capital. The campaigners used vehicles to spread awareness about coronavirus.
Rahimullah Khogyani, the provincial Information and Culture department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News that UNICEF recruited a number of youth to carry out the campaign in urban districts.
