KABUL Breshna Shirkat (DABS) on Monday sought five more days to fully repair a 100 megawatt electricity line which was blown up Sunday night.
Wahidullah Tawhidi, DABS spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the power transmission towers were blown up in Mirzakhel area of Mir Bacha Kot district of Kabul late Sunday night.
The destroyed transmission towers supply electricity to capital Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar and Paktia provinces.
Tawhidi said full repair of the broken towers required 23 million afghanis and five days to be completed. He said three teams were currently busy in the area.
