KABUL victory day against former Soviet Union with the aim to prevent coronavirus spread in the country’s jails.
Rashid Totakhel, director of prisons management of the country, told a press conference that at least 12,399 prisoners would be released based on President Ashraf Ghani’s decree on the occasion of the Jihad victory and to contain spread of coronavirus.
At least 12,399 prisoners would be released from prisons across the country, he said.
