KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar assured to address the problems of students in Indian and other foreign countries, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Friday.
Atmar during a video conference meeting with representatives of students in Indian heard their problems and demands. Economic Secretary Mirwais Naab and some student were present in the meeting, the statement said.
The student complained of bad economic condition running out of cash due to the lock down imposed in Indian to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The students also expressed their concerns over the presence of quarantine centres close to their hostels and complained against the worsening psychological condition.
Atmar express happiness over the unity and commitment among students and asked them to further strengthen their coordination through their representatives.
He assured the students that he will personally monitor the condition of students in India and other foreign countries and would take necessary steps.
