KABUL (Pajhwok): Progress has been made in talks on breaking the political deadlock between Ashraf Ghani and his main political foe Dr. Abdullah, says a Presidential Palace official.
At a media briefing in Kabul on Monday, President Ghani’s spokesman Sediq Sediqqi announced that headway had been made in discussions between the two camps.
Seddiqi, who did not go into details, told reporters there had been progress in the talks that were still ongoing. He looked confident that a formal agreement would be reached soon.
