KABUL and Daesh rebels was destroyed during operations in capital Kabul, the spy network said on Wednesday.
A statement from the National Directorate of Security (NDS) received by Pajhwok Afghan News said NDS personnel conducted three operations in Kokchin-i-Payeen village of Shakardara district and 11th police district of Kabul.
During the nighttime operations, a joint center of the Daesh rebels and Haqqani network was eradicated.
It added five militants were killed and another eight arrested in the overnight raids.
The killed and arrested rebels were involved in recently terrorist attacks, including at the Presidential Palace when President Ghani was taking oath.
