This was stated during a meeting between Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Mr. Zalmay Khalilzad in New Delhi.
Khalilzad was accompanied by Senior Director in the US National Security Council, Ms. Lisa Curtis, and the US Ambassador to India, Mr. Ken Juster.
They laid importance to India's crucial and continuing role in sustainable peace, security and stability in Afghanistan.
