KABUL or Upper House of the parliament on Sunday complained against injustice in the distribution of free bread to less fortunate people and decided to summon Kabul City mayor.
Lawmaker Muhaiddin Munsif hailed government initiative of launching free bread distribution to less fortunate persons of society and added that in most areas of Kabul City the bread is not delivered to the poor people.
He added the lists prepared by local elders excluded poor people and instead of them they enlisted their relatives and aides.
Daud Ghafari, a lawmaker from Ghor province said that injustice happened in the free bread distribution drive.
He also demanded a responsible implementation of the process. Some lawmakers shared same views.
Senate Chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar demanded justice in the process of free bread distribution and demanded Kabul mayor to be summoned to one of the session of the senate.
