KABUL (Pajhwok): Ziaul Haq Amarkhel has been appointed as state ministry for parliamentary affairs and Ghulam Bahauddin Jailani as state minister for natural disaster management, the Presidential Palace said Wednesday.
Amerkhel, who previously severed as a senior presidential advisor in tribal and political affairs and Ghulam Bahauddin is a former provincial council chief for Parwan province.
The two men were appointed to their new jobs in compliance with two separate presidential decrees.
Amarkhel replaces Farooq Wardak as state minister for parliamentary affairs and Jailana replaces Najib Agha Fahim as state minister for natural disaster management.
Kamal Nasir Osuli, a member of Wolesi Jirga ambassador to Turkey but official sources said nothing in this regard.
