China provides medical aid to Afghan security forces

KABUL (Pajhwok): China on Wednesday handed over the first batch of Covid-19 prevention materials to the Afghan security forces.

Chinese Ambassador Wang Yu tweeted the materials were handed over to Ministry of Defense (MoD) officials in capital Kabul.

He wrote, “Medical supplies from People’s Liberation Army of China arrived Kabul today… I handed them over to Deputy Defence Minister Munira Yousufzada.”

China had always stood by Afghanistan to safeguard peace and development, and build a community with a shared future for mankind, he added,

Earlier, China had provided another batch of Covid-19 prevention materials to the Afghan government, promising continued help to Kabul within Beijing’s capacity.
