KABUL (Pajhwok): The New Kabul Bank said on Sunday it has installed automatic teller machines (ATMs) in Kabul and other part of the country to contain the coronavirus spread and facilitate for the payment of salaries.
In a statement on its Facebook page, the bank said it had activated ATMs to contain the pandemic facilitate the affairs and speed up transactions for its customers.
It added the machines had been installed in Kabul, Herat, Balkh and Nangarhar provinces. The facility will be provided in other provinces as well.
However, most workers government departments and NGOs, who receive their monthly salaries from banks, complain about the lack of rush and crowds.
