4 children killed, 6 injured in roof collapse incidents

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least four children have been killed and another six wounded as a result of two separate roof collapse incidents in eastern Nangarhar province, an official on Tuesday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News four children of a family were killed and two others injured late on Monday night when the roof of their house collapsed in Majboorabad area of Jalalabad.

Also on Monday night, four individuals were wounded when the roof of their house collapsed in the 1^st police district of the provincial capital.

Khogyani said both incidents occurred due to strong winds in the city last night. Rescuers have reached the sites.
