QALAT (Pajhwok): Seven people have been killed and 12 others wounded as a result of two separate blasts in southern Zabul province, an official said on Tuesday.
Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a Taliban blast targeted a civilian vehicle in Meezani district.
He said four civilians were killed and eight others wounded in the explosion.
A statement from police headquarters said six people suffered casualties in a separate blast inside a house in Mullah Barat village on Monday evening.
The source said the militants wanted to make a landmine in the house but the explosives went off prematurely.
It said three people were killed and as many wounded. The house was destroyed.
Taliban have no yet comment on the incidents.
