CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): An electricity pylon partially damaged in a blast in Charikar, the capital of central Parwan province, an official said on Friday.
Governor spokesman Wahid Shahkar told Pajhwok Afghan News the pylon was partially damaged in the incident, adding there was no let-up in electricity supply.
Shahkar said work on the restoration of damaged pylons was underway and that security forces had defused two other landmines in the area.
