Taliban’s health, military heads for Herat arrested: NDS

 

KABUL Affairs Head Rawat for western Herat province, a statement said on Friday.

Shafi,known as Hafiz Umar is a senior Taliban member and was responsible for destabilizing Herat province. He planned several attacks in Shindad, Pashton Zarghon and Korakh districts.

The Taliban’s health minister in-charge for Guzara, Zindajan, Engil and  Pashton Zarghon was arrested in a separate operation.

The Taliban have not spoken about the arrest of their top personnel.
