KABUL (Pajhwok): Presidential advisor on legal affairs Kabir Khan Essakhel on Friday said the Hamid Karzai International Airport’s situation was unacceptable and was being assessed.
Essakhel in a series of tweets said he along with Administrative Affairs official visited the Hamid Karzai airport in Kabul on Thursday.
He said President Ashraf Ghani had said the situation of the airport was not acceptable and the assessment plan would be readied soon.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority in a statement said aviation chief Dr. Mohammad Qasim Qafai met with presidential advisor Essakhel and inspected the airport.
