KABUL (Pajhwok): For the first time, a female officer has been appointed as the administrative head of the criminal branch in the provincial police headquarters in southeastern Khost province, but the move triggered some reaction.
Khost Police spokesperson Adel Haidar said Zala Zazai has been appointed as deputy administrative head of the crime branch in the province.
He said Mrs. Zazai was introduced to her office by Col. Lahore, deputy administrative head of Police Headquarters.
