KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Newly appointed female crime branch police chief for southeastern Khost province, Zala Zazai, says the dearth of women in the security sector and her own interest obliged her to serve in the force.
Zazai, 21, from Zazi Aryub district of Paktia province, currently lives in Kabul with her family. She assumed her office today as chief of the crime branch at the police headquarters in Khost City.
