JALALABAD (Pajwok): Security forces confiscated an explosives-packed car overnight in eastern Nangarhar province, thwarting a massive terrorist attack, an official said on Wednesday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the explosives-filled car was seized at the Chaparhar Toll Plaza area of Jalalabad City, the provincial capital, on Tuesday night.
He said militants wanted to carry out a deadly suicide attack in the city and cause casualties to people, but their plan was frustrated by security forces.
