23,524 people diagnosed with Covid-19 in Afghanistan, 446 die

KABUL (MoPH) said in a statement on Friday.

Nearly 1160 suspected cases have been reported in the past 24 hours in which 656 were tested positive, the statement said.

In the past 24 hours 602 people have recovered from the respiratory disease taking the total number of recovered persons to 3,928.

Twenty patients died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours and that brought the total number of dead persons to 446.

The government had introduced new strategy for the control of coronavirus which was enforced last Sunday.
