Imam among 4 killed in Shershah Suri Mosque blast

KABUL, have been killed and some worshipers injured in a bomb blast inside the mosque in the Kart-i-Chahar locality of capital Kabul on Friday, an official said.

Tariq Aryan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “According to initial reports the blast happened inside the blast. Imam of the mosque and three other were killed and some people injured.”

He said more details in this regard would be shared. Maulvi Azizullah Mufleh served as the Imam of Shershah Suri Mosque.

Earlier, on June 2, the Imam of Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque was killed in a blast inside moque.
