2 wounded in Kabul magnetic bomb explosion

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two people, including a civilian, were wounded as a result of a magnetic bomb blast in Khair Khana area of Kabul on Saturday morning.

Police spokesman Firdos Faramarz said the explosion took place in limits of the 11th police district of Khair Khana area at 7:20 am.

He added the blast occurred when a magnetic bomb attached to a police pick-up went off, injuring one policeman and a civilian.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing, which is currently under investigation.
