US soldier killed in Farah traffic accident: Pentagon

KABUL (Pajhwok): An American soldier has been killed as a result of traffic accident in western Farah province, the US Department of Defence said on Sunday.

Vincent Sebastian Ibarria , 21, was died due to a traffic accident, according to Pentagon media release. The incident is under investigation.

According to Special Inspector General for Afghanistan (SIGAR) report in the first quarter of this year at least seven US soldiers have been killed and 11 others wounded.

Based on other US media reports, at least 20 American soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan so far since the start of the year.
