<p>JALALABAD (Pajwok): Nearly two dozen <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> militants have been killed in clashes with security forces in Nangarhar and Khost provinces, officials said Wednesday.</p>
<p>Twenty Taliban gunmen were killed and several others wounded after they stormed security check-posts in Zawi area of Khogyani district late on Tuesday night, said Attaullah Khogyani, the provincial government spokesman.</p>
<p>The Ministry of Defense also confirmed the killing of 20 Taliban and wounding of several others in the clash.</p>
<p>Separately, three Taliban militants were killed and six more wounded in clashes with security forces in Safri area of Musa Khil district of Khost province on Tuesday.</p>
<p>The Taliban have said nothing in this regard.</p>
