KABUL (Pajhwok): Around 13 million people have been infected with Covid-19 while eight million others have recovered from the pandemic worldwide, statistics from a US-based university suggest.
After emerging in the Wuhan city of China last December, the COVID-19 virus has spread to at least 210 countries around the globe.
In the first months, mostly Chinese citizens were infected and killed by the disease, which has now been controlled by China. But it is spreading rapidly in Europe and America.
