JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Nine Taliban insurgents were killed in a blast caused by their own explosives in eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday, an official said.
The blast took place in Nazyan district, the governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok.
He said the slain rebels belonged to the same area.
The Taliban have so far said nothing in this regard.
