KABUL (Pajhwok): The Presidential Palace has termed the launch of asset registration of government employees as part of government efforts to curb corruption and stressed the fight was practical not merely a show.

Presidential Spokesperson Sediq Sediqi in a video clip sent to media outlets said government was serious fighting corruption and the anti-corruption efforts were not merely a show but was a meaningful drive.

He said a number of employees had registered their assets so far adding that this process determined government commitment in fight against corruption.

“In fight against corruption we will be strict and work with commitment and with the support of people we will stop wasting resources,” he said.
