KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Abdul Sabour Qani on Wednesday warned police officials if found negligent in duty would be fired.
The warning comes after residents of northern Balkh province complained about growing insecurity in the province.
Rais Abdul Khaliq, a lawmaker from Balkh, told Pajhwok Afghan News in a telephonic conversation that insecurity had reached the four gates of Mazar-i-Sharif City, the provincial capital.
