KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Twenty-seven militants and two policemen have been killed in face to face fighting and an airstrike in the Marouf district of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Friday.
Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan said the Taliban stormed police check-posts in the Toghrai locality on Thursday night which resulted in heavy clash that lasted for hours.
He said seven Taliban were killed and eleven others injured in face to face fighting while 20 more were killed in the US forces . . .
