<p>Iran’s ambassador Kazem Jalali and President Vladimir Putin’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov exchanged views on the overall situation in the region.</p>
<p>According to the Iranian Students News Agency, the two sides underlined the need for greater cooperation and interaction on Afghanistan.</p>
<p>The envoys also agreed on continuing contacts and negotiations on the situation in the war-devastated country, the media outlet said, without giving further details.</p>
