KABUL (Pajhwok): Euromoney has recognized the Afghanistan International Bank (AIB) as a leading Bank in Afghanistan for 2020, a statement said on Saturday.
The certificate of excellence for leading bank is awarded to AIB for providing best banknote services to consumers, implementation of banking laws of international standards, the statement said.
Earlier, the AIB received the best bank award from Financial Time Magazine London continuously for eight years from 2012 to 2020.
Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence are the awards that matter to the banks and bankers who matter.
They were established in 1992 and were the first of their kinds in the global banking industry.
