KABUL (Pajhwok): Police shot and killed one child and injured another in the capital of central Uruzgan province on Sunday, a resident claimed, but the police chief said it was a landmine blast.
The resident of Chino area in Tirinkot, the provincial capital, spoke to Pajhwok on the condition of anonymity and said police fired at the two children from their post at about 11am.
He said one child died on the spot and the second was rushed to hospital.
