MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): NATO Stefano Pontecorvo on Wednesday called for a prompt start to intra-Afghan talks, assuring the alliance’s continued support with Afghan security forces.
NATO SCR media office said SCR Stefano expressed the view during a trip to Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of northern Balkh province.
The top NATO diplomat held meeting with the alliance local military officials and discussed security issues.
Stefano also held meetings with the governors of Kunduz and Balkh provinces and discussed different issues . . .
